In December 2017, four staff and six students visited the Lake Como area of Italy. The school had lots of activities planned for us to do while we were there. We stayed in a hotel close to the school and visited lots of different landmarks, including the magnificent neo-Gothic Duomo in Milan. We went ice skating by the lake in Como, visited a silk museum, went for a walk in the countryside and two students were lucky enough to go to watch AC Milan play at home! In the Italian school, we participated in lots of workshops teaching us how to use up-cycled materials in lots of creative ways.
