This has resulted in some of the trade unions taking action in relation to safety in schools given the challenges of new variant of the COVID-19 virus and advice from SAGE. It is likely that this action will have an impact on school being open for all pupils. This has all just come through today and myself and the leadership team have been looking at the implications of this and what we need to do. We will therefore not be able to open to any students on Monday but will plan based on the information we will hopefully have by then about what our next steps will be. I would think we will be asking for those of you who are key workers to again send us details. Please keep an eye on our social media and the website for further information.

I can only apologise for the last minute notice especially as I sent out information regarding us being fully open just a couple of days ago. This is certainly not a situation we anticipated at the end of last term but things seem to change so quickly.
