  • Reviewed Termly in class teams
  • It is used across school to identify pupils learning intentions (targets) and assess progress ipsatively.
  • MAPP is a working document and can be updated at any point of the academic year.
  • Termly reviews and RAP meetings ensure the average steps of progress data can be assessed per student to build up a picture around that individual. Highlighting the norm and any anomalies for the student.
  • MAPP allows all adults involved in a student’s life to assess progress based on: independence, fluency, generalisation and maintenance of a learning intention.

  • Enables staff to evidence, review and inform planning and assessment to meet the individual needs of all our learners.
  • Provides a rich learning journey for each pupil demonstrating impact and progress.
  • Shows clearly what learners can do, what their next steps are and how they are going to achieve this.
  • Highlights how individualised the learning and assessment is for each pupil.
