Priory Woods School & Arts College A Special Place to Learn

Our School

Priory Woods School and Arts College caters for pupils from the ages of four to nineteen with a range of educational needs including pupils with severe learning difficulties and pupils with profound and multiple needs.

Working alongside a range of professionals, we endeavour to meet the individual needs of all our pupils. We offer a broad, balanced and vibrant curriculum, with high expectations for all pupils and staff. Strong links with the local community, European community, mainstream schools and colleges of further education further enrich the educational opportunities available to our pupils. As a specialist school and arts college, creativity is at the heart of everything we do!

School is organised into three distinct phases. Lower School, for pupils in Reception and Key Stage one and two, Upper School, for students in Key Stage three and four and Post 16, for students in our further education unit. Careful design and planning of the school ensure a distinctive and appropriate ethos exists at each, together with progression in the design and content of the curriculum to meet the changing needs of our children and young people as they grow up.
