The Three Little Pigs
This week we are focussing our learning on the story of the Three Little Pigs. Look out for a little surprise linked to our story for World Book Day this week...
Here is a lovely version of this story for you all to enjoy read by Lauren.
Here are lots of activities to try out after listening to the story...
Find somewhere comfortable to relax and join in with this week's brilliant Yoga session with Tracey.
A song to enjoy
Why don't you sing or dance along with the three little pigs 'Rock N Learn' style...
Retell the Story
Learn the main words and signs from the story.
Sensory play and exploration
Gather some items from the story to retell it together.
Remember you don't need a Tuff tray, simply, using the table top or a baking tray works just as well!
Could you build the houses for the three little pigs? Use boxes or tubs for the houses and you could even collect sticks, grass and stones during a walk. We would love to see how you create the houses!
Then maybe you could have a go at blowing them down again just like the big bad wolf? Did your house fall over or stay up?
Creative Activities to try out
You could even make masks to act out the story together
This is a lovely idea for a sensory painting experience. Use sticks, blocks and straw to make marks or print with paint to create the houses of the three little pigs.
