Kate’s class had a brilliant first half term in their new class.  All the students have developed new friendships and have settled into the new routines and expectations of their new class. In the first half term we loved learning about the Victorian’s, and what life was like for people during that time.  In our maths lessons we focused on place value, shape and counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s. Science was great; we discovered all about the life cycles of different animals.  Most of the students in Kate’s class have already started their work experience placements for this year. These opportunities are really important to help develop independence and learn some life skills.  A super start to your year everyone, well done!
