What an exciting first half term it’s been! The children have loved learning about the Victorians; especially finding out what school was like for children long ago. The highlight was our Victorian experience in the Drama Studio, where everyone got to step back in time and see how different things used to be! 

We’ve also been learning all about growing and changing. The children compared baby photos to what they look like now and talked about how they will grow into adults one day. They’ve enjoyed discovering the life cycle of a butterfly too; from caterpillar to chrysalis to beautiful butterfly! 

Next half term, our topic will be ‘Magic and Potions’. We’ll be learning about skeletons in science and practising our map skills in geography. It’s going to be a magical few weeks!
