Follow the Guidance
Please can I remind you of the importance of following the guidance around COVID 19 suspected infections and actual infections? This is extremely important if we are to prevent the spread of this horrible virus and to help us keep school open and to keep pupils and staff safe.
If anyone in your household has symptoms, then everyone in the household must isolate until a test result is received. You must not send a child to school if they or anyone in the household has taken a test and is awaiting the result. If the test is negative, then you no longer need to isolate. If it is positive then the person who has had the test needs to isolate for a further ten days from the date of the symptoms starting. Everyone else in the household needs to isolate for fourteen days from the onset of the positive person's symptoms beginning. Should anyone develop symptoms, they too must have a test.
We are going into a lockdown because the numbers are rising nationally. The ambition is to keep schools open, so please help this to happen by following the rules.
