Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) will all receive a free school lunch as part of the Universal Free School Meals programme. Children in Nursery and Key Stage 2 can pay for a school meal at a cost of £2.40 each day (£12 per week) or bring a packed lunch to school.

Children in KS3, 4 & 5, years 7 to 14 can pay for a school meal at a cost of £2.50 each day (£12.50 per week) or bring a packed lunch.  The menu can be downloaded below.

Priory Woods School is food allergy aware. As a result, we request that children do not bring any products which contain nuts into school, including items containing foods such as Nutella or peanut butter.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Due to significant increases in food and energy costs during the last year, after careful consideration, we are having to increase the cost of school meals.  This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, we have not increased the cost of school meals since 2022.

The new cost of a school meal will be:

• Keystage 2: £2.60 per day (£13.00 per week)
• Keystage 3/4/5: £2.70 (£13.50 per week)

This will take effect from 1^st September 2026.
