We are an all age (4-19) special school in Middlesbrough and we work with children and young people with a range of learning difficulties, including Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities.

POOL ATTENDANT / LIFEGUARD
Head teacher: Ms Emma Fox
Grade/point: NJC Grade D point 7
Salary: £18,502 (actual salary - 30 hours TTO + 1 week)
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only plus one week
Contractual status: Permanent

The successful applicant must have:
- A RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or be willing to train)
- Knowledge of Pool Plant operation (or be willing to learn)
- A good understanding of special educational needs
- The ability to work with learners from four to nineteen and with a range of abilities
