We are an all age (4-19) special school in Middlesbrough and we work with children and young people with a range of learning difficulties, including Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities.

Our school is a vibrant and dynamic place to work. We are a forward thinking, outward facing school and we constantly strive to challenge, motivate and inspire our special learners to be the best that they can be.

POOL ATTENDANT / LIFEGUARD

Salary:
                                £18,502 (actual salary - 30 hours TTO + 1 week)
Hours:
                                30 hours per week, term time only plus one week
Contractual status:
    Permanent

If you are a suitably qualified, highly motivated, creative with high aspirations for all learners, we would like to hear from you.

The successful applicant must have:

  • A RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or be willing to train)
  • Knowledge of Pool Plant operation (or be willing to learn)
  • A good understanding of special educational needs
  • The ability to work with learners from four to nineteen and with a range of abilities
